Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Home Design & Management

Home Manager - Bend, OR

The Home Manager is Savvy’s local point-of-contact for all our homeowners with a home in the greater Bend, Oregon area. You will get to know each owner over time as you interact with them and provide the optimal second-home ownership experience.

This role is heavily involved in the day-to-day property management and operational needs of our owners and their homes. This is an autonomous, yet very aligned role that will have a meaningful impact on Savvy’s success. You will help shape and influence our owners’ - and the general public’s - perception of Savvy. This is a dynamic role that offers great career development in a fast-paced startup environment. Your responsibilities will range from typical office work to on-site inspections and minor repairs. Local travel will be required 10-30% of the time.

Important Note: To be considered for this role you must live in or near Bend, Oregon.

What you will do:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of local vendors (pool, paint, plumbing, flooring, lawn, pest control, home & carpet cleaners, etc.)
  • Have in-depth knowledge of every Savvy home and its amenities in the Bend, Oregon area.
  • Responsible for all owner communications related to onboarding, scheduling, home updates, owner inquiries/requests, quarterly owner meetings, annual ownership reviews, maintenance/repair progress tracking, etc. Communication will happen through email, text, video conferencing, and phone.
  • Periodically inspect homes to ensure repairs and maintenance are properly completed, home supplies are fully stocked (order & restock when needed), and the home meets Savvy’s high ownership standards
  • Support and work closely with sales and marketing teams to coordinate and attend home showings, open houses, and local Savvy events
  • Promptly and professionally respond to all inquiries from vendors, owners, and other stakeholders
  • Perform minor home repairs and maintenance
  • Identify process improvements and implement standard operating procedures when necessary

Who you are:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience with G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail, etc.)
  • A strong passion for providing first-class customer experiences
  • 2-5 years of experience in a customer service, hospitality, or property management position. Property management experience strongly preferred.
  • An organized, detailed-oriented approach to seeing projects through to completion
  • A flexible work schedule and access to reliable transportation. Weekend/night work will be required from time to time
  • Basic home repair and power/hand tool skills
